orffIn the TEADS music program, our students sing songs in Hebrew and English including holiday and patriotic songs, prayers, popular and modern songs. The program incorporates songs of various themes and subjects. Students learn to read musical notes and play a variety of instruments such as the xylophone, recorder, drums and more.

TEADS upper grade students participate in an Orff-based program.

The Orff Method is a way of teaching children about music that engages their mind and body through a mixture of singing, dancing, acting and the use of percussion instruments (i.e. xylophones, metallophones, glockenspiels). Lessons are presented with an element of "play" helping the children learn at their own level of understanding.
