What’s so different about TEADS?
TEADS is intimate, arty, innovative.
But before we go further, be assured of one thing.
Academically, TEADS stands toe-to-toe with any school out there. We are proudly celebrating our 40th year. Our graduates go to Milken, Archer, Oakwood, Harvard Westlake and their kind. From there they go to Brandeis, Columbia, Sarah Lawrence, Princeton and Harvard.
Our faculty are not only highly experienced and all credentialed, they’re award-winning. 2 of them won the prestigious Milken Jewish Educator Award for outstanding teacher. One was Teacher of the Year in Washington D.C. And Newsweek Magazine named one of our beloved Senior Rabbis, Laura Geller, one of the 50 most influential Rabbis in the US for the past two years.
TEADS delivers rigorous, academic excellence on a par with the best, but how we achieve this couldn’t be more different.
You feel the difference the moment you walk in.
Loving Family Community
TEADS is small. Very small. A family. Everyone knows your child’s name, and their siblings, and their bubbe’s. They know if your kid is allergic to peanuts or is in a home going through divorce. Young kids hang with older kids. Older kids hang with everyone. Parents find kindred spirits and teachers and administrators’ doors are open at all times. Get sick and we’re there for you. Put on a show and we pack the house. Talk to our alumni and this is what they’ll tell you. Lots of schools claim they’re a family but here it’s the real deal.
